Can you get a Gen 3 tall enough to go through a hood?

I would actually love to know it that high ram fits under the A body hood? I do know they make plenum spacers and chillers for that intake. So If you wanted to make it taller, there are ways.

We use a pretty choppy cam, and i cant say it's noisy in the intake, valvetrain, or anything on the top end.

Firstly, thank you. Secondly, challenge accepted. They aren't too far off from our ls 427 engines already....and don't forget vertical integration means that we are well capable of designing our own parts, including blocks, heads, cranks, cams, etc.

Guys I need to clarify, total mis-type on my part, but it is a Terminator. IDK what made me type dominator other than i own one. The BP's are terminators, which have been very user friendly and great to use!.

at $12500 more than the one I have making 900 and turning down to 860, that gives me alot of room to grow when the next version makes 1100 :p. These online sellers and their "Mopar Markups" are ridiculous. I'm going to keep vertically integrating ours until until it's literally the same...

Thats where we leave it up to the customer :) your call if you want to keep as much of te factory stuff as you can or not. Holley does have alot of nice swap stuff to make it easy. I guess i'm looking at it as if you have to have a T56, vs a TKX...or want a big OD automatic...you're going to...

We can pair the N/A versions with a Tkx, The big versions can have that or a T56. our Auto options would be a 4l65 based trans for the N/A, or a 4L80 based trans for the big ones. Yes i know those will take some tunnel work. no way around it. We do have plans for an 8HP based trans also...

We lock out the VVT, and delete the MDS on all of them. They are all BGE / Hellcat blocks, but we could build one with the earlier reluctors if you were trying to swap one into something and retain a pre 2013 factory ECU. that's about the only reason to want the early block IMO..other than...

They're left unlocked so users can adjust them as needed (we recommend professional assistance with this) as occasionally someone with say a heavy car, or a highway gears, etc, may need minor adjustments.

Thanks! Yup, we just soft launched an N/A 426 hemi at 610 or so HP, A whipple supercharged Hemi at 870 advertised, and another is in the works with more. Here's your comparison point for a new crate engine, all forged, new hellcat/BGE block, etc. PM me if you'd like more info. Not sure how...

Alternator Relocation to avoid frame rail

Wow that's an oldie! Completely forgot about that. First hemi I built! Good find. I did remember tripping over the spacing, but I thought I concluded it was a 2010 6.1 liter engine throwing my data off. Maybe you are right and there is some odd duck spacing issues in there on the damper or...

Lets talk about what you want to see in a Gen III aftermarket Block?

Thats a great suggestion. we could cast the material in, and just make it a machining change for the bell.

That I will look at....never crossed my mind! May not be able to as the ears may interfere with the gen III fitment/architecture. But I will look!

Lets talk about what you want to see in a Gen III aftermarket Block?

Yeah I have yet to see a dart actually exist outside of a few displays At sema/pri. I have heard rumors it wasn't much more than a BGE with spayed 4 bolt mains. But I can't confirm that.

Lets talk about what you want to see in a Gen III aftermarket Block?

I'm not sure how many members we have here that have built gen III's. The BGE block is very Stout in stock form. But always room for improvement. I have a nice list going already from my own experience, but I'm sure I don't know it all ;)

Would love to hear what my resident hemi engine builders would like to see in an aftermarket, designed from scratch, gen III engine block? Splayed mains vs the 2/4 cross volts? Extended cylinder bores? Let's hear it! All ideas welcome.

we only use the holley stuff currently. you're right it's pricey. the pedal you use, needs to be from whatever vehicle your ECU is....many use the same one, but they aren't all interchangeable. is that the 2007 aspen? is this the one you have? 2006-2009 Mopar Accelerator Pedal 53032910AF |...

2007 5.7 Hemi in 73 Plymouth Duster (pedal cuts out)

I don't have much to add other than my 07 hemi pickup had a bad abs hub sensor that didn't throw codes, but caused other issues. One recommended to remedy My cruise not working was to replace the brake light switch, so you could be onto something there. Ultimately I changed it with no results...

2007 5.7 Hemi in 73 Plymouth Duster (pedal cuts out)

Can I ask if these are oem pedals? Or aftermarket? We only use the OE mopars because the aftermarket ones we tested were garbage 50 perfect of the time.

Driver side starter vs passenger side starter on Hemi with TKX or T56. Anyone done Passenger?

Driver side starter vs passenger side starter on Hemi with TKX or T56. Anyone done Passenger?

FABO Team, In introducing our new hemi packages, I've become aware that on the late model cars, the starter on manuals is predominantly on the passenger side. Obviously different than our old school mopars. Has anyone done one with a passenger side mount? My gut tells me to use the LA SB...

Alternator Relocation to avoid frame rail

Different OD. Underdriver/overdrive ratios. We use a 5.7 vvt damper on a 6.4 daily. Bolts right on. Different size OD Those bolt to the head. Maybe non vvt heads stick out more than vvt heads, or vice versa. Probably just needs a few spacers to eat the belt spacing up. One of Our front...

Alternator Relocation to avoid frame rail

I don't believe there is an "early 09+ bastard spacing" that was on a vvt hemi, but doesn't match the other vvt engines. I could be wrong....but I have only seen vvt, and non vvt. Now car vs truck..sure, but other than the 6.1 throwing off the vvt years, I haven't seen a "3rd" spacing on hemi's.

Alternator Relocation to avoid frame rail

Be careful using 2010 model year for info. The 6.1 carried past the introduction of the 2009 vvt engines, and the 6.1 was NEVER vvt. I would expect any non vvt car engine to have one belt path, and the vvt car engines to have another. The 6.1 hemi throws off some search engines, and/or...
