I'm not an expert, but I'd say it's not worth it.. even with the 318 thrown in, would you really put it in the way it is? No, you'd probably rebuilt it... so the 4,000 dollar car would end up being quite a bit more... You can probably get a 70 dart with a built 318 or 360 that someone built for...

I can agree with these guys about A-bodies having "hidden treasures" under the paint... my driver's side rear fender had AT THE minimum 1/8" sheet of bondo over the metal, and in some places up to 1/4" inch.... The car looked straight... boy, was i wrong......

3 grand seems way too much... I have a 71' plymouth duster in better condition, newly rebuilt 318 etc, and i'm betting i could only get 1,500 for it.....
