2015 Barracuda concept -vs- the very first 1969 M-Code 'Cuda?

That's a concept by a guy that thinks this is what the car will look like. If you follow predictions, some are wildly wrong, while others kinda get it right. Seeing how Fiat doesn't even know what they are building yet, I highly doubt this is the final product. There's always a chance, but if...

It's just getting funny at this point... *sarcasm*

Took the grinder to the heat riser. Success! Thanks for the kick in the butt, guys. I needed it.

    Perfect, I'll attempt that. Thanks!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that had this problem. I was thinking I was just cursed! Thanks.

Possibly. I was worried shavings would go everywhere. Would you just use a regular grinder?

It's just getting funny at this point... *sarcasm*

Yeah, it would hit the carb.. It's all Edelbrock. Carb is a Performer Series, as is the intake. The line is made for the carb. I guess they assume if you buy the low end Performer intake, you are just using rubber hose. I thought about maybe running a carb spacer, but I think I'd have to trim...

It's just getting funny at this point... *sarcasm*

I had a rage filled rant a few weeks ago about being frustrated with my 12 year project. I took some time, bought a few small parts, and decided to tackle an easy project today: install an Edelbrock hard line on the Edelbrock Carb. Easy, right? Well, the Edelbrock Performer intake has a riser...

The usual "fed up with my project" rant.

@dart4forte , yeah, I see we build our projects at about the same pace! Insane, isn't it?

The usual "fed up with my project" rant.

Thanks @jimharvard . Encouraging words. I feel a little better tonight after hitting Craigslist and Ebay, unable to find a decent project within a few hundred miles. It lives to stay in the garage another day... I think the biggest reason I get frustrated is I usually have to modify or heavily...

The usual "fed up with my project" rant.

My dad has a stepside 91' GMC sitting in the driveway, but my mom won't let him get rid of it. They never drive it. Ever. I've been trying to get him to sell or give it to me for years! 350 small block; the possibilities are endless. My dad hasn't wrenched since the 70's, so I know it will get...

The usual "fed up with my project" rant.

Don't make me jump! I'll do it! :violent1: Went through my build thread last night. I can't believe how little progress I've made in 12 years. I've basically ended up with a full blown restoration, except I don't have the skills, time, money, tools or talent to do it correctly. I just got done...

    Commuter Car

For commuter, I always recommend Civic/accord. Accords got bigger as they got newer, but those 90's versions were the right size. I have an 05' Civic with 115k miles. Not a single problem. I think if you went for a Focus or similar American car, you'd have problems down the road. I am sure they...

9 mm gun, what to get?

It shouldn't jam EVER. Unless you are shooting junk like Herters and Wolf. Like I said, my Beretta was ok and is of course a solid choice. The military wouldn't use them if they were junk! I am of the opinion though that there are other choices out there that are easier to shoot due to weight...

9 mm gun, what to get?

I have a .40 S&W M&P for work. I have put thousands of rounds through it. One of the best IMHO. I really like Sigs as well. I carry a .40 Springfield XD subcompact as a backup, and it is ok. I had to have some warranty work done this year, so I have lost some confidence in it. Four years ago...

Wife got a *new* car; you guys won't like it!

It has the 2.0 turbo. The car was a LOT cheaper than many of you are thinking :) It's a 2008, so it has already lost a lot of its value. I already knew about the interference engine being a potential problem. My Honda Civic is also an interference engine, and I still haven't changed the timing...

Wife got a *new* car; you guys won't like it!

We were planning on buying a Chrysler 300 next November, however she saw this on the lot, and we left 45 minutes later with it  It is not a Chrysler, but I tell you guys, it is VERY nice. It's also not as expensive as it looks! It helps to buy used :D I joined a message board for Audi's...

my advance auto rant kinda funny

I have had that problem at Autozone before as well. I think their computers are set up to only search a certain way, and that is by vehicle. It is probably their way of reducing the amount of mess ups? Unfortunately, for people like us that have multiple years of parts on our cars, it creates a...

Who thinks 10 years from now many will be swapping for V6

Right on... Chrysler IS putting the Pentastar in EVERYTHING these days, so the aftermarket could give it some decent support soon.

Who thinks 10 years from now many will be swapping for V6

I remember in the 90's people in Super Chevy magazine were predicting that people would be swapping in those straight sixes from the Trailblazers into hot rods because they had a bulletproof bottom end. They had several articles about it in the late 90's. Haven't seen that yet :)

    suggestions on dd car

That one looks pretty clean. Just check it over really well. Drive it, get on the throttle on the highway. Sounds like a good price.
