Stay away from the VT if you have a large cam. On the first set that I bought, the valve would clank open and shut at idle due to the large exhaust pulse. They warrantied them and sent a set that was supposed to have a stiffer spring but they did the same thing. I gave up and welded the valve open.

Yep, I read that. Seems like 3" pipes would be awfully tight going that route but it just might work. I could always get another gas tank and try sectioning it too.

Thanks, I can't wait to hear it with tailpipes but the spring relocation is gonna make that difficult.

I used one before and it sounded the same as no muffler. Kind of a waste of money.
