    Up date on the project. Picked up a 360 off EBay, it was covered in dust & oil, stored for along time & only a long block. The guy I got it off said " got no history, bought it of this guy & asked nothing but it turns over" I will strip it down soon to have a look.

    Alright it's catch up time. Managed to pick up some caps for the wheels at a swap meet. They have finished them off nicely. Radiator is now 3 row & is part Dodge Dart & part Oz Valiant. The Dart is now on the road & running fine. Here's the end result...

    Found top radiator hose is equivelant to 1980 Valiant 318 with A/C here in Oz. Bottom hose is.................1966 Ford Falcon here in Austraila. Getting the radiator re-cored but this time it will be 3 row.

    Thanks I will take your addvise on these headers. A custom set made in Oz is between $1500.00-$2000.00, so even if I use these as a base.

    Having a problem locating a top radiator hose in Oz. Have any fellow Ozzies any ideas on an Austrailan equevilant, it looks to be the same as CM ELB 318 with A/C. Has anyone tried this?

    Found an over heating problem. Top radiator hose was swelling up like a watermelon, the radiator core is good but the inside finns look blocked. So I wiped it out & sent it off for a clean. Found that the thermostat housing & thermostat was the one from 73 & still in good condistion.

    Hi Grant I will post the part numbers for you. I'm very imprest with the ride using the Konis, they are not the exturnal addjustable type. What Dart have you got? Not many in Oz.

    Went for a run around the block with no exhaust & it sounded hot. Need to do the timing as I could here a bit of pinging going up the hill. With the new front end , wheel alingment & brakes it handles quite well. Getting the exhaust done as a 2.5" twin with no balance pipe from the engine back...

    Wheel alingment was a 4.5 hour affair as we had to adjust everthing from LHD to RHD. They had a brand new wheel alingment machine that was connected to the net & they down loaded the factory specs & then reversed them. It was an early start so with no exhaust so next door got a rude shock...

    Here is the under body finished off. The gear box leak is now fixed it was the pan seal & selector shaft. The box was in very good cond with only small adjustment to the bands requiered. Off for wheel alingment, exhaust & rego next week :cheers:

    Well I managed to fix the handbrake or ebrake. Front & rear bars are now clean & brackets painted ready to go back on.

    Master now fitted & brakes bleed. The problem now is with the handbrake not working due to the disc brake conversion. The diff is out of a Aust Ford Falcon 1994 XR8 & the raito needs to be 1-1 for it to work. It got new cables that are the same as the geniune Dart one so it has to be in the...

    Front end now fitted & waiting to go for a wheel Alignment. You can see I have a gear box leak, looks like the selector shaft seal. Can these be replace with out removing the pan?

    Inside of the rims is etched primed then an epoxy enamel in sky grey, the spokes are etched primed & then in gloss black. Do not know if you can get White Knight brand in the States. Any rims will need a good clean before appling paint.

    Yes well done it,s a BW & it came out of an Aussie Ford ED XR8. It has 4 pinion LSD & is now 3.5 to 1. That why only Ford rims will fit the back.

    The rear brakes were binding on the dics calipars with the standard wheels, so fitted 2 Ford 12 slot rims & it was an instant fix. Oh well up for a set of mags.:cheers: Started to clean the underbody here are some before shots. You can see the disc brake conversion

    Yes any import from the USA that is over 30 years or older can stay LHD. Makes it interesting driving on the right hand side of the road. Scares the wife with on coming trafic.
