    I prefer the later 73+ spindles for the strength, they have more meat on them. I’m sure the early spindles hold up just fine as most of you have said. I guess the bigger bearings make me feel better, along with the large ball joint and having the easy parts availability at common stores

    Nice, I have early front mustang seats in my 64 Valiant. I was gonna get TMI bolster foam and new covers for the front. Is your rear seat the original one? Did you just ask them for extra material to match? Did you have a shop do it?

    Thanks, I went with 2” primaries into a 3” collector. I’ll post some decent pics of the underside when I get it up on the lift at work this winter. Has a full exhaust now that exits in front of the rear tire. The color is “raw steel” ceramicoating from a local place here in Portland, OR.

    steering gear box

    For Manual and Power boxes, 66 and earlier had smaller mounting holes for 7/16" bolts. 67 and later switched to 1/2" bolts, so bigger mounting holes. All manual boxes are small sector (even after 72) except for C-body and vans.

    Reproduction 63-66 V8 Centerlinks

    Firm Feel is now offering reproduction early V8 centerlinks. These are a brand new, heavy duty version of the hard to find original 63-66 Abody centerlink. They are built with the appropriate drop to accommodate the V8 oil pan clearance and come powder coated black. PM for info.

    I'm running Viking double adjustable C203 shocks w/ bearing eyelits 9.42-12.60 9DP350 coil springs 350lb 9" springs Like Denny said, I had to grind the lower bump stop for clearance.
