    Edelbrock 1404 on 318

I mean if you think about it, I used to crack 120 mph in a Dodge Monaco with a 318 2bbl. I don’t think you’ll miss the extra cfm, and it’ll actually run and idle cleaner with the 500.

Street Demon carb on 1972 340 sb intake

Yeah that's what I figured. I've been fighting against getting a performer but I think that's the road I am going to have to go down. There really isn't a big gain besides the weight and the eddy piece has to be port matched to the 340/360 but I would rather avoid the spacer.

Surprised it'll clear those keyholes.

I wonder if the secondaries will get hung up on the cast iron intake without the spacer...

Boy, looks like she'll just clear! I also found this article, looks like it'll work on an older performer with no spacer as well. It would be nice if they offered a thick insulating gasket like the TQs had. Installing a new Street Demon – Moore Good Ink

That's what I was curious about. I am ok with a thick baseplate gasket but I don't want to have to run a mickey mouse adapter or spacer.

Street Demon carb on 1972 340 sb intake

Hello, I have a 1972 cast iron 340 spread bore intake. Can I run a Street Demon carb without an adapter/spacer? Thanks
