Fuel line routing - frame connectors

X2 At no point should the fuel (or any) lines be below the frame. IIRC NHRA rules dictate that the fuel line must be run on the outside of the frame rail so that fragments from a clutch, converter, transmission or driveshaft explosion do not pierce a line. Even so, I ran my line on the inside...

What is the purpose of this ?

That's called an OSAC (Orifice Spark Advance Control) Valve. It delays vacuum to the distributor advance on acceleration to improve emissions. Temperature and weather are not a factor, it delays advance all the time. Most people just bypass it.

b body tank in an a body?

Right now it's blocked off. Most aftermarket fuel gauges won't read the Viper sending unit so I may have put in a stock sending unit later on.

b body tank in an a body?

b body tank in an a body?

By the time I modified them to fit they looked horrible, plus they were kinda rusty to begin with so I trashed them and...

b body tank in an a body?

'69 b-body tanks are too long, you need a '71/up tank. The spare tire well has to go away and you have to make a flat trunk floor as well as a couple of rails to support the tank. The rails stiffen the floor nicely and also serve to lower the tank a couple of inches so that the fuel filler can...

Source for large capacity A-body Gas tank?

Nothing is more stock looking than stock. If you intall a flat trunk floor and modify the hanger locations, a stock 71 Charger fuel tank should fit. I changed the filler location on my Dart to behind the license plate instead of in the quarter panel. This may not work in the Demon, you may have...
