On the pax side cover there is a heat shield. Sorry don't have a pic. It is on the carb side if I remember correctly. My wires to the alternator pass behind it. It's obvious if the cover has it and I've been told they were on all 340 covers. GLWS! Mark

Did you ask why he's selling it? Gut feel is you can do better...don't be in a rush...if you HAVE to have it, try and get some kind of guarantee everything is serviceable. Good luck!

I'm running the original air cleaner on my 71 340 Duster and couldn't find a gasket last TQ rebuild. I'd be interested if someone knows who sells them…otherwise it's going to be a homebuilt gasket!
