Was hoping to get away without putting it on the pan, I figured the filter adapter must be a good spot for oil temp?

Hi guys, wanting to hook up oil pressure and oil temp gauges some time, and wondered if anyone has either used an oil filter sandwich with a right angle adapter or has anyone hooked a sender to the spot with a plug on the right angle adapter?

Missing a rocker shaft retainer washer, but don't have any small blocks to pillage for parts. Are 225 rocker shaft washers the same?

Got to get pistons, so compression is up in the air at the moment, would like it to run on 91oct if possible.

I'm probably going pretty mild cam-wise, something in the mid .4's lift certainly not over .5 lift but still looking. It's a light duster with 4.10 gears but only street driven, as for converter...something cheap, may even try using the /6 converter I have or a one out of a 318.

I have loads of NOS lifters, a set of stock hydraulic push rods, what should I do to use the 273 rockers? Replace the rods or adjusters? Also I'm assuming standard rocker shaft is ok, but what about oiling to the top end of the push rods? how does oil get in through the adjusters?

Okay good info, so I shouldn't worry about them breaking esp with the spring pressures I'm likely to generate. Now where will I find some cupped adjusters?

Because everything costs moon beams down here, wondering about either adding a baffle to my stock pan (73 360) or even fabbing up a sump, something wider that is no lower but still fits the K frame without notching. Maybe kinda like the 60's nascars had. Anyone done something like this?

Whats anyone's experience on using 273 rockers on a 360, with hydraulic lifters. I ask because that's what I have and I'm trying to keep costs down. But am I better sticking with the pressed steel rockers. Has anyone broken the 273 rockers?

Hi all, any one out there got an idea how much clearance they have between carb top and the hood on a 73-76 duster with an RPM air gap manifold, trying to plan how high an air cleaner I could use, before going to a scoop.

Looking around at good running second hand 360's and wondering, if the later roller cam ones are okay to start with, or what you guys recommend, I'm looking to do a very budget build, so the less mods the better. Are the later heads (pre-magnum)good? What should I start with?

Where were the lifters made? I went through 4 cams till I got some lifters made by Johnson in USA, no problems since. Chinese lifters and cam blanks should not be trusted regardless of who's label is on them.
