Finished up the drivers side fender and thats it as far as stripping down the old paint goes, on with putting on (and sort of taking off) the new. Seems everything I've sanded down has been repainted at one point, a plus for lack of rust but that means someone has messed with them before...

Finshed the other door Also got the passenger side fender done, had a pause in production due to not having any more 40 grit lying around, didn't think 220 grit would do anything but I tried it and its just as good and I have enough to do a whole other car. Nothing better than rust free...

I thought that the only difference between 67, 68, and 69 doors is that in 68 they changed the lock position inorder to avoid theft and otherwise kept the 69 doors the same., how can you tell a '68 door from a '69? Thanks for all the kind words of support and complements on the roller, no more...

Yup, i have two 1967 doors and two 1969 doors, ill just take measurements from the 1969 doors on where the lock is positioned, drill the hole for the lock out, take the lock mechanism out of the 1967 door, put in the 1969 one, fill the old hole, and that should be it. Sounds easy on paper.

The parts car was out of fort sask from a guy named murray, really wierd car but I got it for a steal. Going to see if i can find some black self etching primer so I can coat the door and trunk lid and after the quarter is welded in the Dart. I'll grab my passenger side door and start stripping...

Update after a while, finally got my momentum going again, main body sanding is finished for the most part Picture is slightly old, cowl is done being sanded and the lower right corner is being cut out so it doesnt have to be sanded. Sanded down the trunk lid on saturday, was a 3-4 hour job...

Im looking for suspension measurements, with K out of the car I imagine it would be difficult to get accurate measurements of where the wheel sits in the car. The frame rails on the car right now are dead on so no need for any more measurements. Thanks anyways.

I wonder if i can get it registered, would be pretty cool. I know for sure it can stay mounted on the front though. Today we got all the useless metal removed from the rails to make way for the afco suspension and tig'd the rails together. Dont have any pictures of the suspension though...

I thought the same thing when I seen the door hinges in my dart (a 1967) and by first glance I thought the idiot who owned it before me had it upside down or took another drivers side one but after some googling and looking at other cars that is in fact how they go.
