I ended up buying a new one from Classic Industries. However when I went to install it, I fiund that the speedo cable would only go into the end of the shaft by 1/2", as compared to an original one that has the hole drilled 1" deep. Thus It cant be assembled. I have no idea if all these "new"...

Jamie had the option to do that and probably have a lot faster production (and a lot less expensive) by having them built in China, but he steadfastly refused to do that. He wanted a US-made product and I'm sure he never expected so many roadblocks.
