I used this $$$ kit, cut off the one connector and soldered on a lug connector, Taylor Cable 21542 Taylor Battery Cables | Summit Racing
A welding company can probably sell you some welding cable, but you would have to solder both connectors.

Need to follow the Holley wiring instructions to the letter!! The battery acts as filter capacitor to help clip any voltage spikes.
EFI Wiring Tips: Proper Ground And Voltage
GENERAL WIRING REFERENCE
An EFI system depends heavily on being supplied a clean and constant voltage source. The...
I installed a trunk battery on my 6.1 L Hemi '69 Cuda with a FAST XFI 2.0 EFI system and had a "work of art" ground installed to the bumper frame bolt. Got royally chewed out by a FAST tech support guru!!! The system did seem to work OK but apparently goes against all the instructions for...
If running a battery in the trunk - couple of things to consider:
1. make sure wire gauge size for the Sniper power wires to the battery is at least as per Holley requirements. Would be best to increase the size of the wire.
2. make sure to run a HEAVY ground cable back the block and then block...
Someone on that forum had used this copper foil for shielding. I bought some for my sniper install, but I'm months away from startup. Just be sure you only ground the RFI shielding at one end.

The marine 6106's were jetted a little richer than car carbs. they had 65 main jets vs 62 or 63 in the car versions. Thus the air bleeds might be different diameters. Just a thought, but no way to tell without measuring.
I'm going with the Holley Sniper and Hyperspark system on my 340. Will be some time before it is running.
Holley has very good tech support and on-line forum. I've seen reports that FiTech is not very good at customer support, but no first hand knowledge.
I'm also using Tanks Inc 1967-70...
The spacer will also work - as long as you have the hood clearance!!! I had to use a drop base on the air cleaner to get the Performer RPM and Sniper to fit under my Cuda hood.
I fabricated an adapter plate so I could get the correct travel for the tranny kickdown linkage. I cut off the top part of the Sniper linkage to make the new plate fit. I wanted to keep the stock linkage, but the Lokar setup looks great.
What engine???? What Intake manifold????? What transmission
I roughly mocked up the Sniper on my 1969 340 Cuda 727 and it looked like it will install OK. It will need a modified throttle bracket to get a bit more throttle travel. I plan on making my own and will be getting at it in the next...
I checked the air flow space between the base plate and cover on my stock air cleaner assembly with a 2.75" K&N filter in it. The gap is 2" at the closest point. I wonder if it is less with the mancini drop base??
Thanks guys - Looks like Mancini is the best option for use with the stock 13" air cleaner lid. Only final concern is that using a drop base results in a restricted flow area between the base and lid.
Anyone installed one of these on a 69 Cuda? Did you use a lowered air cleaner to ensure you could clear the hood? Looks like it is about 1" taller than a stock CI manifold. If so, what air cleaner drop did you use??
Thx
