matthon, I have heard testimonies both ways on the OD 4 speed, some people swear they wont hold up to a big block, but I have personally seen one behind a hot 440 and it held up for quite a while. I would say if you aren't running slicks and it is just regular cruising you may be ok with it...

Don't try to mix and match cluster gear shafts unless something is broke, keep the gearset all together and just change the cases. Are you trying to save weight?

BTW, I am pretty sure the OD I have is from a Dodge truck but has the B/E mounting pads, can anyone confirm this?

I have heard it needs to be a longer OD shaft that is longer for the E. I wanted to change the one I have with the B/E mounting pads to an A for my Valiant. I would trade ya but you are so far away the shipping would be prohibitive... Anyone tried to do this? Bump for ya
