    the Heater Delete option?

Absolutly, pictures of original parts like this is always interesting and in my case also useful. Thank you for taking the time. And good close up pic is helpful when I want to mimic surface finish... As for the cut out, the original ´68 SS-cars use this very same vent box from what I have seen.

Cool stories... I acctually put an add in for the block off plates in a Facebook group over in Australia but no luck so far. As for pics of the vent box thanks, but I have gathered some 30-40 over the years, from all angeles, so I´m well prepared once I deside to go. And door is 4 1/4" X 6...

    the Heater Delete option?

Ok, brass rivets. Good info. Still have them here somewhere on the farm. 3/8" flat head or so. It´s a good thing the box is not an eye-catcher like the 4-speed shifter next to it and I got this one perfectly right.

    the Heater Delete option?

Anybody here know about these block off plates? Were they part of the option? What did they look like in terms of finish and such... Talking about the ´68 Barracuda in particular.

    ´68 BB Radiator Finish?

I put my money here... The entire chassis was in gray primer to start with. Engine compartment, door pillars and trunk was painted black. Not floor. Radiator support and under front bumper was also gray since engine comp. was painted when car had been assembled. Front clip of the Barracuda was...

    ´68 BB Radiator Finish?

Thank you for this info. There was one odd duck in 1968 that had everything in gray primer till engine compartment got a hurried black paint job. I´m trying to recreate one. We know them as the SS Hemi A-bodies.

    ´68 BB Radiator Finish?

Stationed in Germany maybe? Yes, but question is cooling package, the fins… My application is going to have some over spray, and I want to start with a correct "background" to make this look good. Or do you mean Rad as a whole was black Thanks

    ´68 BB Radiator Finish?

Over the phone is something I try to avoid, since some of you guys are using a very goofy dialect :) I don´t even understand some of my native southerners here in Sweden. Someone ought to have an unmolested rad in his low mileage car… we will see... But yes, good to know. Thank you

    ´68 BB Radiator Finish?

What would correct original finish of the cooling package be? Not the tank or frame. That would be Semi Glossy Black or something (correct my terminology)
