ya the pic is not too good this pic is off my old 69 dart,as you can see the washer with barbs around it is there ,i will get a better close up of the bushing.

no i removed it to see the bushing the front and rear have barbs to bite in when tightening the cam bolts in the pic i cant see it.

This is upper control arm bushing,it looks like it missing that washer that has bumps on it to bite in when its tighten,please have a look and tell me if so.that creaking noise is back.

Well i tore into it and greased the bolts,and no noise now after a spin around the block,so i hopen it fix.thanks 72bluNblu,and jim lusk.

could you give me step by step on how to get the bolts out.thanks.the arms wear a tight fit when i first slid them in.

no grease on the bolts,the eccentric are oem,as for torqued there very tight,as said the right side was doing the same thing,tighten them up as tight as i can with out my torqued wrench noise gone but STILL there on the left side. i have done a few front end rebuild in the past never had this...

FIRST thing great how to on installing plates on the lca i did that and when corning its great.I am chasing a noise,cant find it,new front end everything moog parts.W hen i bounce the front end up and down there is a noise,i have felt around when a buddy is pushing up and down,the right side...

Do i have to support the lca when removing the uca bolts.

Ok up date,after greasing up it went away for a little.However it is the UCR BUSHING,when wrencking on it i could here the noise in the first place they are new Moog.I tighten them as much as i can with a wrench,much better now can only here it barely.How does the alignment shop get a torque...

Thank for the help boys,just greased the ball joints more and tighten the upper arms and bounce the front up and down gone,road test will tell more, but its raining now.May 24 for ya.

or just crank the tunes up.

the lower weer torqued under load,the upper weer tighten under load but not torqued i have yet made it to the alienated shop but are snug for sure.

Well the 71 is on the road,every thing new in the front end everything,but there is a lot of creaking going on,all oem rubber,it happens when i push up and down on the fender.WEAR to look,any thought out hear. thanks.

Its bean a wile seance installing t bars, it looks good so far the adjuster is all the way down.When i removed the bars on the back of the rear thears a line,it was say straight up and down,now its say 10 o clock,does it mater where it is.Thanksssssssssssss.

Are moog bushing different than oem.the 1 on the right is how it came apart you can see the bushing that says front and is flat booth sides,but the moog bushing that says front is not flat booth sides,witch way does the moog go.

too my honest i dont know how to check them.
