I hate when that happens. I didn't see an aditional nut/bolt holding the 360 on the old 904 because it was caked over. like 2 1/2 hours of pain and heart ache. My idiot friend comes over (the one that totally bothers you when your working) and he goes "what about that nut" I felt like a total...

I found my shock plates at pick your part auto salvage... I happened to be there on a holiday weekend (50% off). Got the shock plates for $4!!!!!!! and a set of buckets out of a Dodge Avenger for $25 for the pair!!! B

I don't know if it really works. I just wrapped a 5 inch section of the header and the cable where they touch! i also had to wrap my starter with 2 layers of thermotec! Heat kills... learned that with the first $150 mistake.. One thing I do know is they do deflect the heat. Two of my spark plug...

The diameter of the axles housings are different I think. Same thing with mine. I took shock plates from a small rear and tried to put them on an 8 3/4. No Bueno!! When I look at Mancinis shock plates it does not say what they are for. Hope you get it fixed right. B

My q stick cable runs between the starter and the header (touching). I wrapped the tube with heat wrap. It works great. Cool that you fixed it! B

Hello everyone, I have a 1973 Duster 360/727/8 3/4, Front disk, rear drum.. I have oil leaking from a seal that the axle goes through. How tough is this to fix. Do I have to take the pumpkin apart? How much would it cost for a shop to do it? The seal was $5. Thanks in advance B

I agree, My buddy went through 3 cables before he realized his cable was the ground!! B
