If you're looking for the high back bucket seats the upper spring frame and lower frame can be used from a 70-71 A, B and E body. The only difference will be you will need the specific vinyl pattern and the foam for your make and model. Your seat tracks are model specific also.

So the actual metal frame that holds the instrument cluster and radio, glove box door, ashtray facia, etc. should be the suede finish?

Well that's the thing, the car was gutted at one time and I've slowly been getting the correct interior for the car, the car is an original 1970 340 Swinger with black interior. I found this in archives, but it doesn't specify dash colorand I'm curious if Swinger's with Rallye dash had the suede...

Was the dash and steering column both painted with that same textured lacquer paint? Think it was called a suede finish? And is the whole column including the collars painted in that finish or was part of it smooth? Reason I ask is my collars look smooth and the shaft looks textured.

I did read another post saying that A, B, and E 70 high back frames are the same, just the tracks are different. Hope this helps.

My understanding per my upholstery shop is no they can't because the 72+ don't have springs attached to the back frame, there is piano wire embedded in the foam instead. And it didn't sound like the foam can be cut and molded to accept the 70 legendary fabric. I haven't checked any other shops...

I was told by the upholstery shop that the frame is completely different and the 70 foam and vinyl would not fit. It does make sense, the bottom of the armrest has a seatbelt sensor mounted.

This is out of the color and trim book for 72 Dart, doesn't look the same. But I did find a build sheet in the back seat which was for a 72 Dart and my door panels did have the woodgrain.

These seats were in my 70 340 Dart along with a folding armrest/buddy seat. Does anyone have any idea what they came out of so I can sell them and get the seats I need?

Brought the radio over to a friend's house who also has a 340 Dart but unfortunately he doesn't have the factory radio in the dash anymore. But we figured out there is impressions in the radio that look like a paint cutter washer like the nuts for a seat track. The threads look to be 1/4-20 and...

What kind of nut is used to attach the bracket to the bottom of the radio? And what kind of hardware attaches the radio to the front of the frame? Special nut and washer? What do they look like?

You will have to reach under the dash and untwist the speedometer cable from the cluster then remove the screws on the front side of the bezel, you might be able to wiggle it out without loosening the steering column or removing the steering wheel.

If your just checking wiring it's easier to pull the front seat or seats out and lay on your back on the floorboard to check the wiring, don't have to mess with removing a windshield and you can get at most of wiring from underside. But if not as agile removing windshield to pull frame might be...
