    Shop Vac

My Sears shop vac was a real workhorse and great suction but sounded like a 747, when it finally died I bought the stainless version of Home Depot’s Ridgid shop vac. Very happy with it has just as much suction and half the noise plus a lifetime warranty. Liked it so much I bought a second one...

    Garage finishes

I put everything in my garage on wheels so I can wheel it all out for cleanup but knew I'd be banging engines and jacks etc. against the drywall and you can gouge that stuff by looking at it wrong so I found a plastic 4x8 wall board with a pebbled finish on one side at Home Depot and glued that...

    Duster rear end dolly ideas

Appreciate the compliment, the front ones I used a fellow members idea but I beafed it up quite a bit and added the flip out casters, the back I dreamt up starring at my car knowing what I needed them to do until the light bulb went off, lol.

    Duster rear end dolly ideas

Not sure if this is what your looking for, this is the approach I came up with that allows me to raise and lower the car but continue to use the support points that the springs provide so the body doesn't move or sag when I removed panels. Also by flipping the casters out of the way it sits...

wanting ideas on building a body cart for 70-74 a bodies

Decided to build my own but with a bit of a twist, I wanted them to do a bit more then just roll around. I had in mind that they should change in height so I can raise and lower the car and I wanted them to support the body in the same way the suspension does so I needed to use those same...

    Saving the rest

I've had decent results by forcing a little Vaseline in the end of the tip, which blocks off the air from getting to the RTV, then wrapping the tip with some aluminum doct tape.

    Recommend a Welder

I spent a little more than a lot of members would want to spend, I think it was around $1200.00 on sale plus the price of some accesories, and bought the Thermal Arc 211i. Its dual voltage 110 or 220volt as well as Mig & Stick & Tig so it should do every type of welding I need and hopefully...

Anoyone use a Thermal Arc Fabricator 181i?

I've been considering the same welder Badart, it appears to be a very nice unit but wouldn't mind hearing from any members that might have some hands on experience with before I purchase one. Need to decide fairly soon.
