A56. I do have my engine compartment top of inner fender tag. The two screws I’m referencing are located at the front section of the LH inner door frame. They are located above the dome light switch. Sorry for the confusion.

The bottom pic that’s kinda sideways shows the inner and outer door frame. Those are the areas I’m curious about.

I would definitely agree today. I'm out searching for a nice original Duster or A body Barracuda 4 speed right now. If this were still available, I would have it in my garage for $20K. With the crazy prices I've seen, might be 25K.

On my way to check it out soon. Seller is on vacation for a few weeks. As you said, I have also only seen pictures of it so if I don't buy it I will pass the info on for the seller here on A Bodies. He has a lift so I plan to go over it thoroughly. The tons of pictures seller sent gets me there...

It's not on the GTS registry. LS23P9B is the front of VIN. It's a keeper/investment. I always look for #'s matching cars to work on/restore/enjoy. Also these days something I've never worked on in my 40 plus years of Mopars. Never had a Dart.

No vinyl top per the fender tag.

Radiator is original. Just been recored. Non original parts to improve drive ability mean nothing to me. It's the #'s matching motor and trans that mean the most.

Oval tag is the factory export tag. Car still has its #’s matching 340 and 4 speed.

I believe the car is pretty rare as well. 1 of 1022.

If you can't have the #'s 360 motor a good running 340 is a great alternative for a 74 Duster, IMO.

I agree. I cringed as a buddy of mine who bought my #'s 74 360 4 speed Duster started doing mods on it. Car still had allot of its original paint and was still very nice as well when I sold it. To each is own though I guess.

Sorry Darren can't speak to the difference. That intake was on when I bought the car a couple of years ago. It has a Holley 780 DP on it now with that Mopar Peformance intake. Pretty peppy with that combo. I do still have the original intake and Carter carb. I've got my window sticker as well...

Thanks everyone for your input concerning the 74 360 Duster buy. I'm finally ready to put this thing to bed and just move on to something else. My personal belief is that the car is worth in the 16.5K range and just can't see myself offering any more than I already have for it.
