I went with the H setup because that's what was done back in the day. I think the only other deal back then was just running two separate pipes. All of this new stuff seems like brain surgery to me but I'm old school and old (68.)

I love my Dynomax Super Turbos

If you have a single strap gas tank like my '67 Cuda I'm not sure you could fit a 3" pipe on the passenger side. I'm running 2-1/2" and it's a tight fit in that area where the strap attaches to the frame.

I had "H" pipes on my mid 60's Corvettes...they were factory. Many, many years later I chose to use them on the Barracuda when I built it. Got the setup from TTI with Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers. System is 2-1/2". Love the sound of it....old school

I had bungs welded to my down pipes. After checking the A/F I just screwed plugs in them. Never left the sensors in them.

I don't think you can say "easy" and "headers" in the same sentence on an A body. That's why I use Cast Iron:D

Manifolds...you should never have to replace them. Shouldn't be any leaks either.
