Hard to tell in the youtube videos I watched, but it sounds a little raspy.. or it could just be my crappy laptop? Again a deep exhaust note is a must for me.

Ok so I need to buy some mufflers for my exhaust this wk.. help me decide. I want a deep exhaust note, throaty! Not pinging, or raspy. I have a Hemi Gen 3 with a super charger, using TTI 2" primary headers , with TTI 3" X pipe exhaust.. looking for some mufflers... I have my eye on dynomax...

I got the tti minus the mufflers... I'm not sure if im gonna get borla, ultra flow, flo pro, etc

I could get the TTi's but they are not stainless and they come with those dynaflow super mufflers... I wish they came with ultra flows.. I also heard borla was nice.. My thing is I can get the tubing and have my guys make an exhaust but it would prolly be in the 1K range whe its all said and...

I currently have summit headers that are brand new.. but what a PITA to install and the fit leaves a lot to be desired. I'm building a new 408 with ported heads and ported air gap intake. Is there benefit to be getting these Doug's over what I currently have? I love the looks of the Doug's...

It looks nice and tight against the under body.. I'm running 3" exhaust and my square tips are 10" long so I was planning on having to cut the seem weld to make it hug like urs.

ok got it... did you cut the under body seam weld to get it to hug the body tight like that?

Well I just spent big bucks on sound deadener so I doubt I will have a problem with exhaust sound bothering me. Plus my stereo system is killer.. over 1200Watts so that shouldn't be a problem either.. and lastly I'm not a old fart who doesn't like the sound of Mopar muscle so I guess I good to...

Yes that is true but they don't hang lower than the dana or the four link either.

This is my buddies 68 Dart with side exit exhaust.. look how he tucked the pipes under the car after the trans pan for clearance. He also use standard single in/single out mufflers on his build.

I found a mangnaflow same side exit muffler that I'm going to use... its pricey though.

Do you think with me making that "U" turn in the pipe causes to much restriction?

So what X pipe do you recommend me using with side exit exhaust? So as of now I have headers, 3" summit exhaust and magna flows (I can change them to the single side if needed) and polished square tips.

Moparman, thats a sweet setup... I'm with Mopardude318 on this too... My questions is: way couldn't I run that same setup but have the pypes come out at a 90* and exit out the side? This would prevent me from have to be stuck with a limited number for mufflers and use the ones I already have...

This is not compairing apples to apples you are talking about a V12 Viper's exhaust note. I highly doubt a LA block is going to have the same note. I have never heard a LA block side exhaust either so i'm interested.

I think it looks badass.... I'm doing the same thing on my Dart, but I'll have a square tip where it exists flush with the rocker.
