    Actually, the boot is formed to lean forward or reverse, either way you want to install it. It is definitly not formed straight up and down. Also the chrome ring is the right size to fit the factory hump. If I get a chance I'll take a pic and put it on here. Mike

    I beleive if it is an overdrive 833 the input bearing retainer should measure 5.125". larger than the regular 833. Mike
