It's a pain. I have to do them one at a time, by going into the message thread and selecting "leave conversation". REALLY a pain since on FBBO, I was gold and am not anymore...and have over 100 message threads but am only allowed to have 15. Not sure why bulk delete is not available.

Additionally, if a non member is typing in a post window, and certain ads load, the page will change "focus" and if you are not paying attention, your last few words typed don't make it to the window.

Non member's have to wait until the ads load between the posts. This can seem like the page is freezing. It can also cause it to jump if a large ad is loading while you are trying to scroll.

It's NOT a maximum character limitation. It's a minimum requirement. It won't post a comment that's too short, and I'm not sure it tells you why. IMO it should let you post a good/bad feedback without any comment.

Another thing cookies do is keep track of posts you've read so the "new posts" actually reflects that for each user.

I believe Xenforo is the mfg of the software FxBO runs on.

Using the "new posts" page can easily limit the pages of posts you've "not seen" to 10 or less on a given visit to the site. As stated above- "recent posts" shows all within a specific time frame, whether you've seen the header, have added content, or not. Not nearly as useful but it is handy...

Now sometimes, there's a full page translucent "click to close" ad randomly when a new page is opened. Doesn't happen at work. Possibly because I'm behind a 3rd party firewall.

I know I have a LOT of browser tabs open but it ONLY happens what the FABO tab is active. It started yesterday evening.

I don't mind the top of the page ads, or even the in between the posts ads..... ...but that bottom of the page ad can suck real bad. Looks like it's size adaptive to what ever ads the SW wants to put in there, and if it's big, it can take up 1/3 of the page, and also cover the bottom scroll...

Do you have your browser set to auto clear cookies?

"Jump to new" at the bottom (like before) would also be a welcome addition.

Looks to me like the side bar is for FxBO related vendors and the bottom, top and in between posts is for auto generated content.

I've called out a few members who red x'd some things that were either facts or non-reviewable opinions by @ symoboling them and asking what they disagreed with. None have ever responded.

IIRC ads are kept in case there's a dispute or in case there is a need for historical reference. Not a big deal. Simple to look at the date and decide if it's worth pursuing.

if you're using chrome- go to three dots settings run the "safety check" We've had major issues with browsers "sitting on" updates lately.
