    18" Subaru WRX Wheels?

I've "back yarded" a hole saw to enlarge an existing hole by clamping/bolting a wood brace to the part in back of the hole. You could use the lug holes... ...and work slowly and carefully with a real metal tooth profile. Diamond grit would be better.

Has anyone had experience with Kumho tires

That's what I liked about those 711 Ecsta's. Still soft but not as soft as OEM. (Eagle RSA?) Great compromise between traction and tread wear.

Has anyone had experience with Kumho tires

I LOVED the Ecsta 711 in 255/55/17 for my Dakota R/T. They were the best tire for the money. Unfortunately no longer made. Some Kumho's are made in Akron, by former "tire capital of the world USA" employees. BFG TA's ain't what they used to be. Coopers and Master Craft are better tires by the...

Which beauty rings will fit/look like the factory installed option?

I believe factory Mopar trim rings have "one step" on the edge. It looks like at least one of the ones above have two or even three "steps".

    Hard to find…

Interesting- I just looked up Moapr 15x7 rallye wheel backspace and got multiple hits that it's 4.25. You want more? IE the "dish" on the front of the wheel is shallower?

    Hard to find…

I thought 4.25 was a pretty common BS. Seems like I've measured that lots of times.

Anyone know or had dealings with "The Mopar Dude"?

Well crap. Anyone know any body that rehoops chrome/alloy wheels?

I believe it is. Thank you. That helps. I bet prices have doubled since I first made contact. :realcrazy:

Anyone know or had dealings with "The Mopar Dude"?

This is a guy that advertises that he re-hoops wheels. I talked to him a few years ago about re-hooping a pair of my 14x6 Motor Wheel Spyders to 15x7 with a deeper "dish". Just wondering, as I'm thinking of moving that to the front burner soon.

    Tire size for easy steering

205 70 14 all the way around my 67 Coronet, manual steering, manual brakes. I could parallel park that car with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

Want to stay stock with 13" tires, but can't get them

I understand that but I see many posts here on FxBO saying 14" tires are difficult or even impossible to find and it just isn't true.

Want to stay stock with 13" tires, but can't get them

I buy 14's all the time. They're on ebay for cryin' out loud. RWL, too.

    Shipping Tires?

I buy daily driver (actually all my tires) tires direct and they come shipped in pairs, banded together. Must be an incentive to do it that way. I'd ask about it.

    Amazing what Rallyes Can Do

I'm a huge fan of Mopar rallye wheels. In my biased opinion, they are by far the best looking of any factory steel sport wheel designed for a trim ring. IMO olds rally's are a distant second. It's hard to argue with the original intent of the package that involves an optical illusion I think...

Mismatched Wheel Sizes - Need Advice

215-70-14 on x5.5 rallyes in front 255-60-15 on x6.5 rallyes in back. Looks like it was supposed to come from the factory that way. What body/model is your car? 71-74 B has a real generous wheel well, as do 67-69 Barracuda, and Dusters, Demons, and Dart Sports. It takes a whole lotta...

    Rallye Wheels

What size rallye's? The 235 60 14 I had on 5.5" had too much bulge. I went down to 215 70. I should probably remeasure them though I suppose they could be 5". Do we have a definitive list of available sizes? 5, 5.5, and 6? I put those 235's on some Motor Wheel Spyder 14x6 and they look fine.

    Rallye Wheels - Help Needed

If they move at all, get some good quality penetrating oil at the base. I've seen LH chrome nuts with hash marks perpendicular to the plane of the stud, halfway down each side, right at both sides of the point of the hex (wow, that was more complicated to describe than I thought). Keep working...

    Aftermarket wheels...how safe are they??

    I like Mopar rallye wheels.

    Hub centric

You can actually install uni-lug wheels without any washer. I'd not advise tightening them down though, as the nut will dig in to the finish. However, it allows you to see how the physics works. By the time the third nut is on, it's centered. They can only go on one way- centered. The...

    Home made 15 x 10 with 5 on 4 1/2 b.c. and dog dish hubcaps.

I'm still looking for someone to "rehoop" my 14x6 Motor Wheel Spyders to 15x7 or x8. I know someone who could probably do it locally, if I could find chrome 15" shells to fit. I'm seriously considering those Speedway Motors shells and finding someone to chrome them. I have a feeling that might...

    Rally Wheel Cover Issue

there are two differently sized holes for the lugs on rallye wheels. I'm pretty sure the later ones with the round center cap have slightly smaller lug holes. However, I don't have any issue getting a specific, reversible lug socket through mine or an impact socket. I'd double check that the...
