Does the wear on these forks look acceptable for reuse?

No, I'm going to cut off the threaded part and reuse the ball and detent side cover. I thought these looked good because I figure ones in a car that the shifter is used as a armrest would show a lot of face wear. I still remember my Dad yelling at me to curb that habit before it started. Thanks...

Does the wear on these forks look acceptable for reuse?

Looking at these pictures, does the wear look acceptable for reuse? They look pretty good to me but my judgement is based on little experience. I'm putting them in a 69 23 spline to replace brass ones and the trans is behind 350ish horse 360 and 3:55 gears.

What does a scalloped clutch look like ?

That's some good info. I can't stand the BB type clutch, I have to have a diaphragm type. Thanks for clearing that up. I wanted to get the best I could and it sounds like the 10.5 Centerforce will have to do. Thanks for the responses.

I'm guessing that to mean the pressure plate is scalloped? I've been looking...

He said that there can be enough play to touch the side on the retainer and it is still alright because the bearing or bushing in the crank of the motor keeps it centered not the bearing. The teeter/totter comment was exactly what he said...

    What clutch to buy?

Boss put the Centerforce diaphragm behind a hot 340. He drives like a idiot and pushes everything to the hilt. I'm not buying anything else. That phoenix one is interesting though. Looks to be built well. But I would have to see it tortured first to compare.:) It's good to have an "in house"...
