66’ am radio- who will do a full restoration

Rick is great and he's an Early Valiant and Barracuda Club member and owner. He knows that radio very well. Built a great one for my car with Bluetooth and everything and it looks bone stock. Check out the link below for prices. Prices

Molded Early A glove boxes .(MADE A GOOD one finally)

Man, if you could make a dash pad that was actually, you know, a pad, I'd be very interested in that. I bought an original dash pad for my Valiant and immediately sold it again because the fact that it's just metal with a piece of vinyl over it is pointless when it comes to offering any safety...

Which are the best LCA s with sway tabs on a early

I do, but I used the Wilwood kit. Didn't have to do anything with the spindles. Had to switch to 15" wheels, but I was gonna do that anyway.

Which are the best LCA s with sway tabs on a early

I used the Hellwig tubular sway bar kit on my 64. It's great and doesn't require tabs on the LCA. it has bolt on stuff. No welding. But yeah, the 65-72 LCAs are the way to go if you want something factory looking.

Cruise control on a ‘66 Valiant

Fascinating. For about $300, that's a pretty decent upgrade to a cruiser. I with they'd done a little to make it look more "vintage," but I guess that's how they keep the price so low.

    Torsion bar trouble

Vice grips is a bad plan. It can score the metal and that messes with the integrity of the bar. You'll need either the tool or a way to recreate the tool. This one is $35 MOPAR AMERICAN MUSCLE 23461 Torsion Bar Remover/Installer A, B, E & C Body And there's this one for $40 1960-1976 All Makes...

    Alternate gas cap location

I've seen it done before in the charger location. You can't use the whole trim plate like a charger, but you can have the Barracuda cap there. I'll see if I can find a picture of the flip cap. I think it was in a craigslist ad.

He's certainly interested in making some early Dart designs. What would you guys like to see?

I'll let him know there's interest. I think I'm largely to blame for the heavy emphasis on Valiant. ;)

Yeah, it's still the right one. I left out the window part. Sorry about that. It'll work. I bought the same ones for my 64 sedan.

Few questions for the early A gurus

The windshields for the two doors and four doors is exactly the same regardless of being coupe or sedan. I have a Barracuda windshield in my sedan and it fits without issue. Like I said, only the convertible is different.

Few questions for the early A gurus

    1. Yes 2. Yes 3. I'm pretty sure 4. Definitely. The only windshield that's different is the convertible.

    windlace?

True. But I couldn't even get my doors closed. Be careful. With mine I tried slamming it and the gasket caused the back side of the door to tip up and into the rain channel, chipping both.
  20. armyofchuckness

    windlace?

The real cloth stuff was way too thick for my doors. I bought some from Layson's and it's the same stuff Restoration Specialties sell. The door gaskets for an 84-96 Jeep Cherokee are thinner, let the doors close gently, and still keep rain out. Plus, you can get them from Rock Auto for dirt cheap.

    Early A Coolant Overflow

Thanks! Here's a link to how it looks in the car. I just have it zip tied for now, but I'll make a bracket for it once I have the new radiator put in. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipO1cyGwlF1jACoKHL4V_TUC7dFs8JfMnoEFV5GWopV1qELmMjXVRxJk4hWVU0AUbw?key=WHcxdGpEUXJiT0puU2tyMXZlckpMNkNSZXd5SG1R

    Early A Coolant Overflow

I use this one. I have the overflow routed to the bottom port so the coolant can easily go back into the radiator, and the top feeds to the ground. For the track, I'd just cap the top part. Easy to make a bracket for and plenty of room on the core support. Moroso Radiator Overflow Tanks 63657

    63-66 a body ac options

Thanks! It's a replica housing around a vintage Sun Tach II I had converted to one-wire. The real Dixcos are way too expensive for me, I'm afraid. Still looks good though.

    63-66 a body ac options

I have an underdash with a CB under it. But I don't have a floor shifter to contend with. These are build photos mostly, but it all works. The trick is the bracket. It was made by Charrlie_S and unfortunately there aren't any more available.

    Considering Push Button Conversion...help

Yeah, you would need a 65 or older transmission to make it work. Sounds like you've got some unoriginal stuff in there if you've got a 727. You'd need a 63-64 Valiant, Barracuda, or Dart dash, the shifter pod, the right parking cable and shifting cable, and a 65 or older trans. While there was...
