    727 Rebuild recommendations

    At first glance it looks like a 904, not a 727? Like 413 suggested, drop the pan and see what it looks like inside then determine if it needs gaskets & seals or a full rebuild.

    360/904 B&M flexplate

    Thai is the same plate I have. I am thinking that the imbalance may have been due to the difference in the cylinder to cylinder pressures? After rebuilding the motor I believe the vibration will be gone. Put it together and let us know what happens. Good luck

    What is the part number on the B&M flex Plate? Is it the plate with a missing piece of the circle or the added weight ? Can you post a picture of the flex Plate?

    Autozone should check the codes. A buddy had similar experience and it was identified as " a torque converter control solenoid fault." I believe it was an inexpensive repair (relatively.). Much less than a full rebuild. A code reader wold be the first place to start. Good luck...
