    67 BARRACUDA CARGO CARPET

I wonder if no fold down rear seat was standard to keep the advertised base price of the 'Cuda model low. Also, were bucket seats standard on a 69 Formula S fastback? I thought there were some unique standard interior items to the 69 'Cuda model? Just like in 1970, they made the standard...

    67 BARRACUDA CARGO CARPET

In 1969, you can get a barracuda fastback without fold down rear seat. Where all ‘Cuda fastback models no fold down rear seat? They were supposed to be cool looking vehicle, but cheaper than a Formula S. Sort of like what a 69 340 Swinger is to a 69 GTS.

Naake used to do the custom shocks for the Irwindale Late Model I used to work on. They might still use him. How much to rebuilt one shock? Would it be the same cost to revalve it?

I like how you carried out the aluminum accent lines from the air cleaner, to the valve covers, and then pulley set. And the black short block and bare aluminum heads and intake. Everything is complementary. Nice flow.

I added sound deadening to edge to edge on floor and up fire wall. And added on it cardboard separator between rear seat back in trunk. It was/is that fiber/cloth stuff with foil on both sides. Popular in the early 90’s and lots of sellers of it at the Long Beach swap meet at the time. It’s not...

Are you running turn down exhausts and/or flowmasters? I guess we get older, we don’t put up with stuff… I drove my Barracuda from LA to Iowa all through college 1” torsion bars with KYB’s was a stiff ride. 1st time was without a headliner which really help with noise. One time with 225/50/15...

Well, it sorta was. It holds 6 1/2 quart including filter. They are trying to maximize the sump size within the small A-body K-member opening. This is a 73-76 K-member of mine at Milodon on their mock up block. They're checking clearance with the prototype SB Milodon Road Race pan. Worse case...

Yep, same piece. No issues. Actually if you look close, mine is cut even deeper for pick up tube clearance. Look where the cut ends on mine in relationship to the bolt.

Ok, now I see you have the Milodon Low-Pro drag race pan. It's got the same cutout to raise the height of the rearward oil spillover wall. Are you talking about the windage tray piece in one of my pictures that runs under the oil pump? I've never had issue with anything falling off. And my...

Don't forget to mock up the adjustable windage to get it to the minimum spec to the crankshaft so it can scrape some oil off. THEN tighten the outside windage tray bolts, and finally cut the excess threads off.

You cut the stud and dimple the pan. I run that pan. Milodon is local and I helped with mock up and supplied K-member for mock up. You'll have to check everything and probably do some hot rodding fabrication. Looking at what you've done so far, that should be up your alley. Read here: Milodon...

granted this idea is a little “out there” and sorta complicated… What about the possibility of Year One. 17x9 rallye’s all the way around? They have 5” backspace. in front run 275/40/17 and roll top of fender lip and fold front lower lip. in rear run 275/40/17 tires 3/8” to 1/2” spacers. And...
