    Restoring 1969 Radiator. What is the right shade of Black?

    Im interested in this as well. I have seen a few restored/ repainted radiators that look okay but the paint gets tacky when hot and then fingerprints, etc blemish the paint. I was told some old school radiator shops have the correct black high temp paint.

    Did you ever remove your A/C?

    DartGTDan has the right idea, if you want to remove it just take pics and document how everything was routed. Then box it up and save it, if you ever want to restore the car or sell it you have it.
