DIY Dash Bezel Resto - '66 Barracuda

I did the same with my 66B-Cuda dash bezel. I kept my origional dash, and used a dash I bought here on FABO. I used the metal part with it. All I did was to use a 2 1/8th BI-Metal hole saw in the back of each gage. It worked out real good. Got rid of the circuit board, basically rewired the...

Aftermarket Steering Wheel for 66 Barracuda with stock column?

68 The wheel in my pic is not small, maybe 1/2in in diameter smaller than stock. The wheel is still available from Summit, or Jegs. If you go the Grant route, I have an extra # 4310 mounting kit if you want. I'd like to get rid of. PM if intrested. Dave

Aftermarket Steering Wheel for 66 Barracuda with stock column?

I bought a old grant "Classic" wheel, that was all faded, and worn looking at a swap meet. I cleaned up the chrome, and redyed the wood, and finished it with gun stock finish. Came out pretty good, I think. I had to get the correct Grant mounting kit for it, and a horn button. This is on my 66...

    Post your Dash Pics

Here's what I am doing for the dash in my 66 B-Cuda. Stock bezel, and metal rear frame. HR mag did this to a 66 dash, but they cut the whole back out of the frame. I used a whole cutter, and just made 4 hole, for each gage, for rear acces. I am using the stock speedo, and vac gage. I plan on...

    Vinyl Paint

The problem isn't what vinyl paint to use.........but what will hold up on the seats, and not wear off, cause seats probably get a lot more sliding action than other vinyl parts. Good prepaint prep is another critical factor. Use all matching namebrand paints. Also clean, clean, clean, useing...

    Sun Tach in 72 Scamp

I mount my Sun Tachs on the dash, on left side by the A pillar. I use "double sided 3-M body tape". Take the half circle mounting piece, and weld it to the flat bottom piece, that gives you a flat surface to mount on dash, clean, and paint it up nice, and install. No holes in dash, and can be...
