    Bore .050 over

Not likely unless you have a lot of core shift or are using it as an all out race engine.. With it being an earlier casting I would say you will be ok. But really you want to have it sonic checked to see how much material is left in the walls. Then you won't just be guessing.

    Bore .050 over

Have it sonic checked... But I don't know why you would go .050 over. You can't get pistons in that size... Just .060 over would be better. and most 318's can handle that.. Especially the older ones.

    A Couple questions????

you can use a regular bolt for the lbj bolt. Just make sure it is above grade 5. and it should not be threaded all the way or it will act like a saw when it vibrates. Use a nylock nut.

What color should I paint my engine?

I have to go with Chip Foose on this one. "the engine is the centerpiece of the car". So don't do it black. And Green would just blend into the engine compartment. I would go orange.

    426 Stroker info

Well, I don't have a lot of time to explain why, but I wouldn't do it. the cubes gained are negligible and the difference wouldn't be noticeable unless you had REALLY good heads as they would be the big bottleneck in flow (the key to power). the rotating mass and forces will increase A lot...

    360 oil pan

The main bolt (or stud in this case) is one of the things that hold the windage tray on. The only thing in some cases. You need the stud to space it right.

    A8 aluminum blocks.

Well I have no first hand experience... But I would LOVE to do a build with one of these... They can handle the power. Mopar performance would sell you one that would hit 8600rpm and makes 800+ horsepower.. But I can't afford one so I guess I'll have to wait. I do know that they are the 48 deg...

    A 318/360 question

That works too... But I found mine on sale so it wasn't too bad.

    A 318/360 question

Nope... The 360 has a different size main bearings and the pans cannot be interchanged. Sorry. You have to get a 360 pan. And if you buy it new it comes with the pick-up you need. I got mine from mopar.

    Engine oil

That is what I use in mine too. Works great. Yes, the zinc has been cut but I'm pretty sure it is still higher than the Gasoline oils. This is in a stock 318 by the way.
