    I use a gasket that compresses. I have had the headers off three times with the same gaskets and no leaks. Never could get a seal with any of the standard type. To many imperfections in the header flange. If you are interested I will go find the name brand. They seal on less than perfect situations.

    Whatever you use make sure and look at the routing of the #3 tube. Most bring it toward the back and then down. It is a major pain in the butt to route wires and change plugs on #5 & 7. I would buy the Dougs.

    After comparing Pypes web site and Flowmaster, I do not see a Flowmaster product that has internal baffles like the Pypes. Could it be that they are now making their own mufflers? They also claim their material is 304SS and Flowmaster is 409SS. I really cant connect the dots to a Flowmaster...

    Just purchased a set of Pypes SS 2 1/2" with the Race Pro mufflers. $50 rebate and free shipping from Jegs. Whole system was around $450.00 Going to start installation today on my 69 340 Swinger. Will post pics and comments as I go.
