Not what I wanted to hear

I talked to my doctor about having a stimulator put in me after the trial. He does the Medtronics and the Boston Scientific models. I haven't decided yet on if it be worth it for me. Really hope it works out for you.

    LONG covid? COVID Pneumonia?

Had Covid in early August and was over it in ten days. Then I got sick at the end of September and am still sick with respiratory issues. I have gone thru antibiotics and a z pack. I have two inhalers that I use now. Just got off the steroid on last Monday and just today I'm starting to feel...

    Hearing protection.

I have tinnitus due to a TMJ issue causing muscle spasms in both ears. It causes debilitating pain in my ears and my tinnitus is roaring when the muscles are in spasm. Fortunately it rarely happens much anymore. I run a fan at night to mask the chirping in my ears so I can sleep.

    Let's talk about trucks

When the engine goes I'm calling a junkyard to come get it. No way am I messing with that engine!

    Let's talk about trucks

I have a 2004 Ram 4.7 that has 210,000 miles on it. It's rusted badly and isn't worth trying to save. I'm tired of looking at new trucks that are not capable of pulling a trailer and cost $60,000. And educating the sale staff about the equipment that it needs to do so

    My lower back is junk

I had a Laminectomy on L2 throughL5 in 2017. I just had three RFA's on my right side three weeks ago and the left side the month before that. I go back to the doctor this fall to see if I'm a candidate for wedge spacers. I also take Lyrica, Melexicam and Tramadol on the bad days. I...

    Road salt anyone

I wish they would stop using salt here. It not only eats your sheet metal but also pollutes the lake by changing the salinity of fresh water. It's a lose lose situation!

    The southwest US is burning

I think it's really wrong to politicize a natural disaster and all the suffering the people there have to endure.

    Car hauler trailers

My trailer will haul a 5000 pound weight on a pair of 3500 pound axles. That's the legal max that it can have on it! And a max of 750 pounds of tongue weight! Your trailer has a tag on it that list the max load you can out on it and do not ever exceed those numbers. You should have it...

    Car hauler trailers

I have an 18' open steel trailer with drum brakes on both axles. I have a 4500 pound winch on it now but no tool boxes, might add some this year. It has a 7000 pound capacity and the trailer weights 2000 pounds so a 3500 pound A body is well under the trailers capacity and it tows laser...

    SPINAL STENOSIS

I had a Laminectomy on L2-L5and it did help stop the pain and numbness down my right leg. But I still go to a pain specialist and I had a RFA done on my left side two weeks ago and now I have a burning sensation on my left butt cheek down my left leg to my knee. I can't win.

    SPINAL STENOSIS

Same here. No cure for it. Try to not get hooked on the opioids as you go down that road.

    SPINAL STENOSIS

Yes. I had the surgery done in 2017 it offered some relief. But I still go to a pain specialist for back pain.

Don't do this to your children

To tell you the truth it's not really that bad. Bags of old clothes can be donated so can everything else. I would be totally embarrassed to show you pictures of my mothers house. She has paths thru the house with stuff stacked on both sides waist high. Her kitchen table has junk mail...

We had a day in the low 70"s last week and it felt great to be able open the windows on the house to air it out. Now it's raining and 40. So much for spring.

    Two men’s opinions

Solar companies are signing up property owners here to set panels on their land like crazy here. And the land that's going to solar is farmland that corn was grown on for ethanol. There not gonna store the energy it produces, just goes back into the grid during the daylight hours.

That's dangerous, you're too old to be doing it!

I don't think I would be climbing a ladder if I were you! My leg will drag on me when I walk every once in a while. Makes me stumble.

That's dangerous, you're too old to be doing it!

Just turned 65 in September and my wife doesn't want me to climb anymore. I have a giant oak tree that needs trimmed and planned on renting an articulating lift but she said just get someone else to do it. I have chronic pain syndrome that makes it really hard to do stuff like that anymore.

Does anyone on this forum own an EV. Be honest!

No It's being farmed now. It's had field corn grown on it for many years now. We met with her lawyer and I made a few changes to the contract and we have to see if they'll agree to the changes before she sign's it. So it'll be a while before it's done.
