just cut the spring perches off move them out 3 in weld them back on,,mark your spring perches all the out to end and relocate for pion angle the axle gives 1.1 in wider on each side ...lets you to install wider tires with the right backspacing.....
it wont work.....buy a shift cable from b@m they have many styles and leights.u dont have enought thow in that cable spent a mounth on mine .....hope this help out,....bonehead

i will load the gun ha ha sometimes price is an issue have to do what you can do with your funds to have fun... i wil install an 8.8 in my 64 valiant this next week looks like it will fit ...will have to move spring preachs out 1 1/2 in will know when i get going..... will keep you updated...
im not an engineer but i would rebuild the tunnel hump uni -bodies need all the the parts and pieces connected for strenth , i rebuilt mine but am still using torsion bars, and 518 od trans......good luck and have fun.......bonehead

sorry mike you live in ark but for the life on me cant see any reason to take the low end tourqe out of a slant 6 170 unless its full race and most of the time those cluthes u lose drivibilty they are not as smoth as stock
