Great show. We are going again this year. We stay a the Motel 6 in Lakeville. It's just a short drive to the show. Reasonable rates. No pool! But we go to have fun in the parking lot afterwards. There number. 1-952-469-1900.

Yeah, it was a great time. Hope to go again this year. We stayed at the Motel 6. Alot of great people there. Fun to stand around and bull s**t with them. AnotherA, How did you get that pic. Did you shop it or was it the way the sun was shining?

I guess I'll have to get back down to WIR for the RSD events. I haven't been out racing this year.

We're going also. First time in the new location. Last time we went, in 2002. It was still at the race track. Took the wife's Dakota R/T, Got second place in the modified truck. Won't be as lucky. Taking the Duster this year. Hope to see everyone. We should have a little get together.

We can't make it this year either. We were there the past 2 years. Other stuff going on this year. We will go again next year. We knew the plans this year. So that's why we went on the Hot Rod Power Tour. See ya next year.

Didn't the drag strip close many years ago? Went there when I was a kid in the 60s. I lived not to far from there. Hinsdale, Il. There was a lot of strips back then. Union Grove, Wi. Oswego, Rockford, Il. And US 30 in Gary, In.

That's how I'm going to do it. Got a kit cheap. Going with a 125 hp. shot.
