Mopar clutch posi? Boom! Not impressed.

If it's a drag only car I would use a spool. Nothing to go wrong there.

Firewall for Trunk w/ Nitrous and battery!

When I first put the battery in the trunk of the Duster, I used 24 guage steel behind the seat. I was able to use the cardboard panel for a template. Then just made it bigger to mount it in there. I was still able to put the cardboard back in ther also. Nice for driving. Alot quieter. The...

    Open exhaust Hp gain?

What do you guts think of the dumps after the X pipe? On the Duster I have opened them with good results. That way you still get the effect of the X.

    Running a H Pipe,whats the advantage

I switched out an H pipe to an X pipe. I noticed a big difference in low end torque And it also made it a little quieter. I would advise anyone to install and X over an H pipe.

Do I need a new mechanic?

I got more seat of the pants torque with just changing to the RPM air gap. I really dont think you need the spacer. Mine is a 340 with a MP cam 484/242. headers and X pipe. Try it with out the spacer first. I just fit it under the hood in the Duster with a 4 in filter. You shouldn't...

    Living with 3.91's

I used 3.91s for awhile. Got the Duster well into the 13s. I currently have a set of 4.30 that got me into the 12s. If any one is interested, I would trade them for a set of 3.91s This is a complete center. 742 casting. With a small yoke. Anyone? PM me.

    Proform Rollers

I have them on the 340 in the Duster. They have been in there for over 2 years. No problems. Got a MP cam with 484 lift, and rev it up to 6200 rpm's at the strip. I have not had any problems with them. I have heard that they don't work with cams over 500 lift. Just my 2 cents worth.

I vote for MSD also. I've had 2 units myself. Car came with a 6A box. Iran it for 3 years. Just went with a 6AL box for the insurance. Haven't had a problem yet. Seen other guys run the same box for 5 years with no problems.

Forgot all about this thread. Took the Duster to the track back in april. Got about 4 passes. The best was a 12.93 at 105. Went up for the 5th pass and broke the front U joint and slip yoke. Haven't been back at all this year. Put the old trans back in to go through the good one. Still have...

    Air Gap Manifold Opinions

I got a Eddy on my Duster. I think it was worth the extra money. Now getting rid of the eddy carb and going to a Holley. Should work well together.

    Higher stall vs Daily Driving

Don't think you will have any problem. I have a 3000 stall in my Duster. I run 3.23 gears for the street. I have not overheated it at all. You just get the rpm's up a little more for those burn outs. It also helps me launch better at the strip.

    Holley or Edelbrock carb

I got an Eddy on the Duster now. But I have a Holley at the carb shop right now. It will be going on this spring. The eddy is good for normal street use, but Holleys do work better on the strip. I think I have to much cam for the Eddy.

    K&N FILTER INQUIERY

I heard the same thing about the fram made filters on Dodges. I agree with everone else. Only use Wix, NAPA or Car Quest on all of mine. If you look inside those brands you can see the spring in it to help hold the oil pressure up. The cheap ones just don't have em.

Just an update on my time slips. Took the Duster back to the strip early this month/ Oct. Thought I would have my 12.90s. There was a good or bad head wind coming at you going down the track. The best I could due was 13.08 The guys at the track said everyone was loosing about 2 tenths...

    line locks......

Got an old Hurst line lock on the Duster. I only use it for burnouts. Just use the brake to hold it on the line, to pre load the suspension. Summit makes one that seems to work good and is cheap. About $40.00 bucks.
