    Add a bathroom... you'll be glad you did! I put in a bathroom with a shower, washer & dryer. Shower comes in handy occasionally if you have a super dirty or oily job you're working on & washer & dryer to wash all your dirty clothes in so you're not getting the wife's appliances greasy grimey!

    rodent proofing a garage

    Getting rid of grass/brush next to building & putting down rock helps...use big enough rock not just pebble size. I then put out d con packs...out of the way if you have dogs.

    Same here. I have several large boxes in my shop & a "carry box". I use the carry box to work on cars or retrieve parts out in the country. I probably have more tools in my "carrying box" than most people have in their garages. I really need to get a larger carry box as I've out grown this one...
