    I'd stay with the efi also. You can't beat the difference in drivability. What some people don't realize is how much longer the engine will last also since it burns so much cleaner.

    Fifth Avenue Throttle Body Fuel Injection

    I don't think the 5th ave ever had efi. The last year was 89 and they still had carbs on them IIRC. But, the throttle body efi that mopar used should bolt on the 273. The draw back is there isn't any way to reprogram the engine controller.

    This is what I was getting at also. Only having 16" of pipe after the wideband may be the problem. At idle, especially with that cam, it's pulling air back up the pipe.

    Where is the wideband located? If it's at the end of the exh pipe opening (clamped at the exh tip) then it is going to read lean.
