    76 breaks problem

Those look like 1 3/4” shoes, but since you have disc up front, you should have a LBP 7 1/4” rear, and that would use the more common 10x2.5” brakes. Looks like you have a mismatch there.

Rear drum question 7.25 vs 8.75

Lots and lots of them did, some even with the large bolt pattern. As for the OP’s question…..yes, the drums are the same. The backing plates however….7 1/4” has only 4 mounting stud holes whereas the 8 3/4” has 5. Yes, you can drill the 5th hole.

    70 Dart Kelsey Hayes rotors

And the Budd brakes are only for the big C body cars. If I was looking to get the rotors turned, I would ask around at the local cruise in, somebody always knows somebody that has a lathe to turn them down.

    65 Dart 273 hi-po. Are these 9 or 10 inch drums?

They’re 10”. Look at the difference in the shoe width between yours and BK Cow Gods 9”. Also, a quick look inside and you’ll find that there are no push rods for the wheel cylinders to push out the shoes, 9” had an embossment right on the shoe that sat right on the piston inside the wheel...

1 3/4 rear drum brakes question on worth

Yep, they’re worth some decent money. Sell them with the backing plates and you’ll get north of $100 for them, probably more.

    Dr. Diffs shipping cost.

I have a **** ton of large parts to get rid of, but I know the shipping will kill the deal, even if I price em to sell. I guess a swap spot or 2 is on my list at the Nats this year.

    Master Cylinder

yep, they are the same master, or at least they look the same. I got mine from a brake only supplier that used to be in Ann Arbor called S&H Brakes. I too questioned whether it was right, but they knew all about the K-H system and assured me it was the correct unit. I don’t know the part number...

    Master Cylinder

I may not be of much help here, but I’m running one that is correct for a 69 Dart with manual disc. You may find that you wouldn’t think it’s the right one because it has the same size bowls for front and back, but for a K-H manual disc setup, it is correct.

    "Bell" style drums

Yep, they’re worth money. If they’re useable and can still be turned to clean them up, you could get up to $100 for the pair.

    Inline Tube

I bought and paid for all of my lines from Inline at the Nats last year. The lines were shipped immediately, but they forgot to put the rubber flex lines in the box. It took me 6 weeks, more than 1/2 dozen phone calls and emails sent with pictures of my handwritten invoice from the Nats clearly...

    Help identifying front brakes.

The studs are swedged to the rotor/hub assembly. You need a swedge cutter to do it right. You don’t want to damage the hub, they’re hard to find.

    Disc brake conversion (70 Dart)

Any disc brake setup is an upgrade over drums. Still, 1000’s are still stopping on drums with much success, myself included! It’s worth doing the swap, and if you can afford it, and want to go that way, buy aftermarket. Me, I can do well with factory parts just fine, and would use the factory...

    8 3/4 Rear/Brake Line

Not without buying aftermarket axles. The A body 8 3/4” small bolt axles have a unique axle offset that is specific to the 1 3/4” wide brakes. The offset is different, the brakes from a B body are wider, have the large bolt pattern on the drums, the center register is larger in the B body so the...

    8 3/4 Rear/Brake Line

So, here’s the scoop, the 8 3/4” backing plates have 5 bolts to mount to the housing, the 7 1/4”only has 4. There has been word that you can drill the 5th hole and use 7 1/4” backing plates, I don’t believe that’s possible. That assumes that the other 4 bolt holes are in the correct location...

    1967 barracuda brake rotors help

Are you sure? I thought the early Mustangs had the 4” bolt pattern. Not sure if this, but I’ve heard for years that the Mustang rotors could replace the 2 piece hub and rotor design with some minor machining. I’m sure not everybody has a machine shop at home, but it’s easy to find one that will...

    8 3/4 Rear/Brake Line

You can’t use your existing 7 1/4” lines, the splitter block is a different configuration. You also can’t use your existing 9” brakes, as the A body small bolt 8 3/4” rear has a unique offset axle flange that will only work with the 1 3/4” with 10” brake setup! The backing plates from the 7 1/4”...

The only time I ordered anything from Rock Auto, I had to send 1/2 the order back.
