1970 Dodge Dart - Got the passenger fender off, looks pretty good!

B5, original paint. Before (after sitting for 42 years) and after I hand rubbed it out with compound. It’s a 70 car, so it would be apples to apples with your 70.

Is this forum For A Bodies Only Restorations?

I would say that anything Mopar related in the “Members Restorations” would be a welcome subject. I’m rebuilding my plow truck right now, a 1990 Ram, not that I’m going to start a thread, but if someone else had a truck resto going, I would be all eyes, and ears!

1966 Factory V8 Valiant Signet Restoration For My Other Daughter

there is no front or rear window trim on a 66 sedan. All you get is the gasket, the Mylar biscuit that expands the gasket, and in the back there are 4 little corner trim pieces because the gasket comes to a corner. The front is more rounded at the corners and the Mylar strip goes around the...

My New FABO Reality Show...Rani, I'ma Callin' You Out!!!

I’m sorry to tell you Dion, that the video Nella and I made had a small flaw that made the entire video unable to be published. Long story short, we used a Cake song, “Stickshifts and Safety belts” through the entire video, not realizing that is was copyright protected, and as such made the...

    My New Build...Project "2nd Best"!!

Well, I was just cleaning out my inbox and came across this thread, which I never finished. Long story short, not long after the WPC show that year, I had an offer for the car without the motor, $1800 I think it was. I don’t remember, but I think it was bought by a member here who drove all the...

1966 Valiant Sedan V8 Swap (Victoria)

If you’re running that radiator, I can give you all the pulleys and brackets from a 69 318 I have here that came out of a Cuda. Are you running power steering or manual? That will make a difference in the crank pulley.

1966 Valiant Sedan V8 Swap (Victoria)

Yes, do as Rob says. Take it at your own pace, and use your time as a relief from day to day duties. It will do your heart and mind good, and the next thing you know, things are done and you’re moving on. More motivation in jobs well done will yield more jobs well done, next thing you know...

    67/68/69 cuda dilemma

Word on the street is that AOC has already ordered the elimination of barn dust by the year 2029, seems critters that live in barns must’ve “contributed” to her cause, as they have been wrongly corralled into the stereotype that all barns are dirty, and so they must be dirty too! Get it while...

I have no Idea where to start

In regards to the A/C system, my advise would be that if you have to have A/C, you would be much better served getting the aftermarket A/C setups now available than trying to piece together an old antiquated system that is inefficient, hard to find parts for, and is unable to run any coolant...

I have no Idea where to start

Ok, first, this is a long journey, not a quick trip. Plan your build now and stay firm to your vision. If you’re truly set on a big block, then set yourself on that road learning what that means. It’s heavier than a small block, so heavier duty items are needed in driveline, things that are not...
