    1 3/4" Headers Verses 1 7/8" on a Healthy 408....Is There a Big Difference??

My W2 head 408 made made really close to 550HP with a single 4bbl and TTI 1 5/8-1 3/4 stepped headers. I recently came across a set of the 1 7/8 TTI W2 headers second hand for a great price. I picked them up, but I'm now on the fence. I'm not certain the gains warrant the effort to swap...

Is it ok to copy a W5 head and make it better or are we just mad at Speedmaster

I believe your statement is 100000% correct! Probably not many would care to admit they have more issue with who did it, rather than the fact it was done.

    Eagle cast steel cranks

I agree, my opinion is build the best shortblock you can afford, even if you have to sacrifice on the heads. Head can then be updated at time budget allows, bottom end not so easy.

    Eagle cast steel cranks

I agree spend the money once on a forged crank. I wish to make clear, I have no experience with either the Eagle or Scat cast steel cranks, however, every issue I have ever heard of was with an Eagle cast crank. Scat did make the Mopar performance cranks, both cast and forged as I understand...

    Oil Accumulator Install

Exact same flow rate and pressure ratings as larger like the 1068 or the other longer ones. Believe me I researched thoroughly and spoke with Wix about it. Also consulted with engine builder, who gave it the green light. I had the same concerns initially as you. I will just change it more...

    Oil Accumulator Install

Benefits to running an accumulator include: Full oil pressure to the engine before starting. Continued oil pressure to overcome momentary oil pressure losses from rapid acceleration, deceleration, or aggressive cornering. In the unfortunate event of a problem where oil pressure, or oil is...

I have a Canton plate that sandwiches between the 90 degree oil filter mount and the filter. The plate has a 10AN fitting into it. I use Napa Gold 1335 filter to fit.

My new 75 Duster stocker, let the fun begin.

This is at my friend's garage, I believe he has 10' ceilings. We may have been able to get car slightly higher but not much. At max lift possible due to ceiling, the rear axle was at about shoulder height, can't fully walk upright under the car but it sure beats working on the floor. Just...
