40 and even more if they are correctly ported ! I went on the dyno with my old 408 engine it end up at 520 pounds of torque and 581 hp with the w2 heads so... this engine doesnt have alote of compression either was running 10.50 cr

that's what I would do I made yesterday an 18 hours drive ( back and forth ) from my house to Middleton Nova Scotia to pick them up -the heads are new and cnc ported fully assemble gonna dissamble them and verefy every thing spring pressure valve .... -the intake is an edelbrock Victor new...

SORRY IM FRENCH SO.... give me a chance what I wanna say is dont buy Indy heads kit as kit but just heads an intake and forget the rest we all know they are crapy

the problem is if you dont wanna use 30 years old part and dont wanna break the bank you go edelbrock ( not better than the OE ) if you go with them wanna go fast you need a big porting so... so you end up with Indy but people should understand that you buy heads and intake and the rest should...
