1966 Dart GT rear window and windshield trim removal

The front windshield does not have the stainless trim. You have to remove the insert from the rubber gasket on the outside. The rear window inner trim ( on top of rubber) is held on with clips. Just gotta be careful not to bend it too much. The rear window outer trim ( on the body where you...

Do You Restorers Replace the Styrofoam Inserts or Just Throw 'em Out?

I always thought they were used as a protection against dirt/debris build up in between the frame rail and floor pan. That area is like a scoop for foreign material to accumulate while driving down the road and eveything just blows right in to promote rust out.

    Sanding floor pans Sucks

Por 15 is rock hard stuff! I like it for bumper brackets. Fills up imperfections and wont scrape off. Not very good on nonrusted metal though. The biggest problem I had with it is the solvent popping while curing . Its so humid here in Jacksonville and the por15 likes to harden up too fast...

    Rust

i was thinking of covering the hole on the driver side also. its up to u. the vent window in the door would probably be enough to cool u off anyway. there is supposed to be a door on the air can so u can close it off and not freeze your toes. the hinges for the doors are usually rotted away or...
