    Rear Outer Differential Bearing

I don't have an SKF catalog at the moment.

    Rear Outer Differential Bearing

If that's a photo of your rear axle, it's an 8 3/4. That takes the A7 axle bearing.

    Rear Outer Differential Bearing

If you have an 8 3/4 rear end, the most common number is A7. Bower/BCA also made a kit with A7RK for the right (passenger) side, and A7LK for the left side. Do you want the factory Mopar number?

‘63 Valiant - steering shaft play

If the coupler was disassembled sometime in the past, it may just have been re-assembled wrong. If you turn the shoes 90 degrees, there will be all kinds of slop in the coupler. I'd pull the column and disassemble the coupler before ordering any parts. It's rare that those shoes wear out...

    T-bar query

Now's the time to seriously consider upgrading those bars if this is a street car. Your's are fine for a drag car, but, for the street, I'd go with at least the 892-3 version. The aftermarket 1" plus bars are also nice if you want to car to handle a lot better. Add a front sway bar and you won't...

    Steering column interchange

You might want to check the ignition switch and turn signal switch plugs too. I seem to remember something different there. As a whole column, it should fit the car. Some individual parts are different. As Scody21 mentioned, the interlock system is totally different. So is the ignition lock...

Help! I need to identify my upper control arms please! 70 dart.

If the ball joints you installed fit reasonably snug even though the threads were stripped, I'd just tack weld them in another spot or two and call it good. That fix is fairly common on ball joints that were pressed out by folks who didn't know that they threaded in.

Help! I need to identify my upper control arms please! 70 dart.

    '62, yes, same as the '63-72 ones. '60-1, no....different.

69 Swinger, Column shift to floor shift

'67-9 A-bodies would have the same conversion parts. Yes, just the upper two housings (shifter and shift indicator) would need to be changed if you're just concerned about the interior look. The shift tube would need to be changed if you don't want to see the linkage connection in the engine...

    68 Charger steering issue

First determine where the extra play is. Have someone rock the steering wheel back and forth while you look at all the steering components. The coupler, box itself, pitman arm, idler arm, tie rod ends, etc, are all places that can be worn or out of adjustment.

QUESTION, For the Day. Anybody Know What These Parts Are For?

I think this bracket is for a '67-9 small block alternator without A/C.

Need 1971 Dart Steering Column diagram...questions on column to floor shift conversion

'70 used linkage from the floor shifter to turn the release collar and allow the key to be removed. In '71 the collar has a spring loaded thumb lever you need to push to release the key. The automatics on the column just used the shift lever to do that.

    8 3/4 rear end confusion

Just takes a dial indicator to set the end play. The green bearings don't need the buttons or an end play adjustment. They're not as strong a bearing by design, but, a pretty good one regardless. Just use two LH bearing retainers when using the green bearings. If either of the buttons falls into...

    8 3/4 rear end confusion

The pin is just there to keep the buttons from falling out. Once in place the pin isn't needed.

    8 3/4 rear end confusion

Without pulling the 3rd member, the way I did it one time was to use some long "magic fingers" to install the left side button with the roll pin sticking out a bit to engage the other button. I then installed the left axle shaft. With that in place, I installed the other button and used a long...

    8 3/4 rear end confusion

That's the setup for the clutch type sure grip. Yes, there is another button just like that one that should be on the other side. The early ones use a roll pin to hold the two halves together. Looks like yours is that type and that the roll pin broke....a fairly common thing. Getting them all...

The numbers won't be the diameter. They will be the last 3 digits of the part number(s)
