    Ive got the CVF kit with power steering on a 383. Tons of room. If you run the factory power steeing box, you have to get a 90 degree fitting and a custom hose for the pressure side.

    I got it all fixed. I trimmed the steering column to move the engine over a little and that helped with the oil pan. Im very close to firing it up!!

    I used a 187 pan per the scumacker instructions. Looks like the idler arm is too long or the motor isnt far enough back?! But the mounts are in right and everything is slid back as far as i can get it.

    Big problem.... just realized the steering kits the oil pan hard. Also oil pan is touching the k-frame. I was so focused on getting the headers to fit I over looked this stuff. This is turning into the swap from hell..... lol

    Whatever the mini starter for a 96’ram with a 360 5.9 mag. I use napa for them. I did ding the header to clear it.

    Here you have it!! The engine and trans are in there resting place for now. What ive learned- Power steering is possible with this setup (Low deck with 1 3/4 headers) you cant be afraid to hammer in alot of areas though!! Lol Ill get the scumacher headers next time
