I had Jim from TrulyVintage transport my non running 1966 D/Dart, plus loose parts from San Rafael, CA to Port St Lucie, FL back in 2017. I would not hesitate to go with him again. He advertises over on Moparts.

The car was purchased by the Stahls Auto Museum located in Chesterfield Twp, Mich. Supposedly, the owner plans on driving the car.

I'm a guy that has an obcession with D/Darts. I currently own 2 of them and had another one a few years ago. I also have a D/Dart registry.

How about a moving truck. Rental car/truck companies that are in high demand areas are charging an arm and legs for one way rentals. In low demand areas, one ways are real cheap.

I'd have to say all three of the D/Darts that I have. The most expensive one was $13,000.

I retired 16 years ago and we moved down here from the Detroit area. Love it here. We had a couple of direct hits back in 2004 and survived. We learned that if they are coming, it's best to go visit family up north. And the weather forecasters give you plenty of warning that they are coming.

They just canceled the hurricane watch for our county and issue a tropical storm watch. It's just a little breezy outside. Hardly any rain. Which is good.

It was 94 with a feels like temperature of 104 over here on the right coast. We ended up mowing the lawn late this morning and I started reinstalling the Doug's headers on the D/Dart. this afternoon. It wasn't all that bad today.

I think you can get the DMV to issue you a VIN number for the car providing you can prove it's not stolen - bill of sale. Then you would have to hand stamp those numbers on the frame of the car. How do builders of rat rods, kit cars or any home built vehicle title them? Should be no difference.

Worked in Chrysler Engineering in Highland Park and had connectiona to get an early build minivan. For what it was it was great. Then I bought a new 85 Dodge Omni, GLH Turbo. That was a rocket back then.

My son bought me two gas caps and used the 15% discount on Tues. Sorry Steve. They are going on both of my D/Darts. Got them today and they fit and look great. Had to rotate the bar one slot.

If you don't want to sell it, think of a rediculously high price and add a few thousand to it. He just might take you up on it. I gave a guy a real stupid high price on one of my D/Darts and he said yes without hesitating. I still miss that car.

I retired from Chrysler Engineering when I was 50 years, 5 months and 15 days old. That was 14 plus years ago. I started at Warren Stamping in Aug,1972, did a short stint at Dodge Truck and then 20 years in Engineering between Highland Park and Auburn Hills. Life is good.
