I picked up a 318 today, but it is missing some parts. I am looking for alternator bracket, pulleys (crank and water pump), exhaust manifolds, oil dipstick, distributor hold down clamp, bracket to mount carb linkage, and maybe interested in some valve covers. Let me know what you got and how...

Looking for a 318 engine, the more complete the better as I have no small block parts. Will consider running or rebuildable engines. Prefer with in a hundred miles or so of Pittsburgh Pa, but will travel a little further if needed. Thanx, Don

I don't believe much of what I read,but I know bearings very well. I have been working with them for over 20 years.If you read the technical data and failure rates of tapered and ball bearings you will find that in this application the tapered bearing is far more durable.I have discused this...

Green bearings suck for a street car. They don't handle sideload very well.Less drag for racing, but on a street car they will not last long.

I've got a str-15 with crossram (2x4) top. never been used, had it bead blasted and clear coated about 15 years ago, very very nice condition. haven't thought about selling it, but if you make me a good offer i'll consider it.
