Spent the weekend at Edgewater instead of driving to Columbus because the car still has some bugs to work out. Next year we should see about getting Cincinnati guys together in Columbus.
Keep in mind that mtn Park dragway is a fairly small venue. It’s a great show and I made the two hour drive down for it but do not expect something like Carlisle, nationals, or mopars at the strip.
With that being said I will be attending this year.
Jegs is close enough to the fair grounds to make the visit. It is small but what other mopar event is there to hit this time of year in Ohio.
I’ll be driving up from Cincinnati.
The last time I stayed up there I had a hotel in Brice road that I booked like a week in advance. Think it was a days inn. I hate to say this but I doubt I will be making the trip up again until the event changes locations or organizers. If you have never been then by all means check it out...
Might be better to use this thread instead of going back and forth with messages to everyone.
75slantsix and I were talking about about meeting up for lunch tomorrow. Would that work for anyone else?
I am coming down by myself. Making the almost four hour drive from cincinnati. It would be nice not to eat supper alone and to meet some more cool members.
There is a possibility I will be going down by myself this year and was curious if other members will be down there? I'm not really excited about walking around by myself for three days.
The Heath pd informed me that I am still in my rowdy hot roddin days.
I love this show. Yes it is getting smaller and a little unorganized I guess but it's still my favorite. Golf carts I honestly got tired of the golf karts. I understand some of the older guys that aren't as healthy...
The dart stayed at home sadly. I was in my silver 2000 gt. Nothing fancy just bone stock. I did one burnout as I was leaving and they got me. It was on the lowes side
Didn't seem as bad as everyone was making it out to be. Shutting down a lane made traffic a mess but I didn't see a ton of tickets being wrote. I got one but I'm not mad about it. The burnout was ticket worthy.
As soon as the cop got back in his car to write it I had people walking up giving my high fives. Plus while he was busy writing me up there was people next to us doing burn outs. As long as my insurance doesn't sky rocket I am happy with the trip. I made some youngins smile.
