I was pleased with the results of my thumper cam. 413 hp 430 ft lbs out of a stock stroke pump gas 360 with a dual plane intake.

What is the issue with the Mutha Thumpa cam? I’ve seen those make some really good power in a 10:1 small block.

X2 but I think you can make that cam work just fine. You can easily adjust the idle with the adjuster on the carburetor and timing. There's a lot hotter combos out there cruising the streets.

I haven't heard if many automatic drift cars and typically I think of 4 speeds when I think of a stick shift. I'm a fan of drifting so I'll keep an eye on this one!

You seem to be a little testy so I'll throw a dumb question your way. You seem to already have the combo in place. Are you just wanting to hear other peoples combinations just for entertainment or are you rebuilding your entire engine based on this cam choice?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but I have seen it get a lot of racers into trouble. Change one thing and go to the track and see what it did. If you make multiple adjustments at one time then your not going to know if one of them helped or hurt you. I made the mistake of...

I have been running a Eddie 650 avs on my 360 all summer and I have zero complaints. It doesn't have the same top end as a 750 dp but on the street it works great. Good luck!
